Mercedes-Benz 280 SL ‘Pagoda’

A Mercedes-Benz 280 SL ‘Pagoda’ finished in its original colour Mittelblau Metallic combined with a brown leather interior. Paint, engine and interior are in excellent condition.
The car features a dark blue softtop and will be delivered with a matching colors hardtop. In addition, the car features hard to find options as an original Becker radio and an original windschott.

This car was originally delivered in the United States and restored in Germany to European specifications (bumpers, headlights, side reflectors, odometer, rear-axle ratio).
The car has been on a Dutch license with the same owner since 2000. A lot of maintenance history of the period in the Netherlands is available as well as a recent inspection report from Mercedes-Benz Stern in Hilversum. Recently the cooling system (waterpump, radiator, viscous coupling and hoses) of the car was replaced.

The combination of smooth performance, six-cylinder engine, automatic transmission, power steering, softtop and hardtop ensures that this car is not only a pleasure to drive on a sunny summer day, but can also be used throughout the year.
